Critical Time Intervention (CTI) is a time-limited, evidence-based practice that mobilizes support for society’s most vulnerable individuals during transition. It facilitates community integration and continuity of care by ensuring a person has enduring ties to their community and support systems during these critical periods. CTI has been applied to veterans, people with mental illness, people who have been homeless or in prison, and many other groups. The model has been widely used on four continents.

Our vision is a community where everyone has access to the resources and support, they need to thrive. We work towards this goal every day by providing vital services and advocating for policies that promote equity and justice. Our community unites to problem-solve the housing crisis and ensure that every human being has safe, affordable housing.
Our team is made up of dedicated professionals who are passionate about our mission. We come from diverse backgrounds and bring many skills and expertise to our work. Together, we are committed to making a difference in our community.
CTI has helped individuals and families in our community. From providing emergency assistance to helping people find stable housing, we are proud of the impact we have made. But there is still much work to be done, and we are committed to continuing our efforts.
We believe in creating lasting change through compassion and dedicated service. In May 2024, CTI was awarded the Community Impact Award from the Washington Center for Women in Business. It was such an honor to accept this award from our community. We are passionate and determined to continue to spread support across Pierce County.
Our mission is to help the unhoused community overcome barriers to employment and housing. We are committed and determined to help others navigate the complex system. Together, we will make this happen because housing is a human right.
